SENIOR CARE ADVISOR - NEW YORK

We are seeking a compassionate and driven Senior Care Advisor to join our team on a contract basis. As a Senior Care Advisor, you will assist older individuals and their families in finding suitable living arrangements when it becomes unsafe for them to live at home independently. You may also have the opportunity to advocate for your client before and after the move utilizing our Peace of Mind service as well has developing relationships with corporate benefits departments helping to support their employees with aging family members through our EASE program.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct consultations with older individuals and their families to assess their needs and preferences.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of businesses that serve the senior population, such as healthcare providers, community organizations, and social workers.
  • Leverage your network to generate referrals and leads for potential clients, showcasing your ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Utilize your sales skills to effectively communicate the benefits of different living arrangements and assist clients in making informed decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior living communities and facilities in the New York City area.
  • Coordinate tours and visits to potential living arrangements for clients and their families.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or additional needs they may have.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments related to senior care and housing options.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress towards sales goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience in sales, preferably within the healthcare or senior care industry.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a strong referral network with businesses
  • serving the senior population.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to sell while maintaining empathy and understanding for clients in
  • Knowledge of different senior living options and familiarity with the New York City area is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client needs.
  • Must be based in one of the boroughs of New York City.

Compensation:
This position is commission-based, offering an income potential of $100k-200k based on your sales performance. Additionally, we offer the opportunity for the successful candidate to own a piece of the business, providing a potential long-term investment opportunity.
