Peace of Mind = Caring, Connection, and Confidence
The desire for peace of mind concerning our elders is a universal sentiment, rooted in love, respect, and a sense of duty. This peace of mind is not simply about fulfilling obligations, it is about cherishing those who came before us, and actively engaging in supporting their dignity, independence, and happiness.
Peace of mind concerning our elders is more than a goal, it is an ongoing journey. It asks us to balance practical needs with emotional connection, to build systems of support that honor autonomy, and to cherish those whose lives have shaped our own.
Looking Forward: Building a Culture of Care
Peace of Mind for our elders is both a personal responsibility and a collective endeavor.
But perhaps the greatest impact comes from individuals and families, choosing every day to listen, to care, and to connect.
We offer individualized Peace of Mind programming to aid the demands of each individual and family.
Here is a testimonial from one of our out-of-state family members in regard to her father who resides in a memory care community.
“Cynthia and Kim have been a godsend to work with. When I unexpectedly took over management of my father's life from the other side of the country, I thought it was going to be challenging, but I had no idea how challenging. Senior Care Authority stepped in with confidence and compassion and helped me navigate a very complex and often Kafkaesque world where I had no experience.
There were many times when the various systems around my father began to break down, and every time, Cynthia and Kim were there to see it and stop it. Without them, I would not have known when my father's previous memory care home became inattentive to him after being sold to a new owner. They have not only saved me and my father many times; they have stopped so many other people from failing us. If you don't know what to do next or cannot have eyes on a parent with memory issues in the way you want or need, I cannot recommend them highly enough.” – L.H.
